Lt. Col. Arshad Husain and Lt. Col. Muhammad Zahir embraced martyrdom

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned attack on a vehicle of security forces on Fateh Jang Road. He took immediate notice of the incident and sought a report from IG Punjab.

The Chief Minister expressed sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of two lieutenant colonels and others and sympathized with the bereaved families. He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured security officials.

The Chief Minister said that Lt. Col. Arshad Husain and Lt. Col. Muhammad Zahir had embraced martyrdom and their sacrifice would not go waste. He said that the whole nation was proud of such brave soldiers.

He said that Lt. Col. Arshad Husain and Lt. Col. Muhammad Zahir had laid down their lives for their country and supreme sacrifices of Pak Army in the war against terrorism would always be remembered
