Lahore: King Edward Literary Society Urdu organized All Punjab competition of Poetry and Bait Bazi.
20 Institutes from all over Punjab Participated in the Event. University of Agriculture Faisalabad won Bait Bazi competition while University of engineering &Technology Lahore stood 2nd.
In Poem category Quid e Azam Medical college Bahawalpur won 1st position, university of engineering &Technology won 2nd and Govt. College University Lahore stood 3rd .
In Ghazal Category Govt. College University Lahore stood first while University of veterinary &animal sciences stood 2nd and Quid e Azam Medical College Bahawalpur stood 3rd.
On the Basis of Best performance Govt. College University Lahore won Team Trophy.
Presidents of King Edward Literary society Urdu Syed Ahsan Shehzad and Ayesha Sikandar hosted the event. Guests of the event included Famous Poet and writer Khalid Shareef, Adnan Mohsin , Zohair Latif & Ex President of King Edward Literary Society Urdu Abubakar Khan Gurmani.
After the Event Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Asad Aslam Khan said that such literary activities are a source of enlightenment for thinking and ideological approach of medical students.
