PAF fighter aircraft crashed in Karachi,pilots embraced Shahadat

PAF plane crashedLahore: Pakistan Air Force reports with regret that a Fighter Aircraft, while on a routine operational training mission, crashed due to technical fault near Baldia Town, Karachi.

The details about the condition of both the pilots are still awaited. PAF immediately dispatched fire tenders and ambulances for the rescue and relief operations at the site of crash.

PAF, as per the rules will provide compensation to the loss of life, property and medical expenses of the injured.  

A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of accident. 

Later, Pakistan Air Force informs with deep sorrow and grief that two pilots embraced Shahadat in the aircraft crash near Baldia Town, Karachi, today. Wing Commander Khurram Sammad and Squadron Leader Umair Elahi were on routine operational training mission when the aircraft crashed.
