On this occasion, Rana Sanaullah announced to give timescale promotion to the employees of grade four from July 1st 2014.
Other demands of APCA included merging of adhoc allowances in the basic pay scales and eliminating difference of five percent in the salaries of government employees of Punjab province contrary to other provinces in 2013-14.
Punjab government has assured to send recommendations to federal government in this regard. He said that a committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary Punjab has been constituted for resolving the problems of the employees of grade five to 16 which will soon present recommendations.
Those who met the Minister included President APCA Muhammad Irshad, Central Chairman APCA Fazal Dad Gujjar, Central Additional General Secretary Lala Muhammad Aslam, President Lahore Division Muhammad Younis Bhatti, President Civil Secretariat Employees Association Rana Nisar Ahmed and Vice President Mukhtar Ahmed.
Provincial Minister for Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sindhu and Parliamentary Secretary Information Rana Arshad were also present on the occasion.
Rana Sanaullah said that country is passing through a most critical phase of the history. He said that PML-N government is facing a number of challenges. He said that other demands of APCA will also be considered gradually. He welcomed the announcement by APCA to end protest. President APCA Punjab Haji Muhammad Irshad thanked Punjab government for accepting demands of APCA.
