We believe in politics of service: Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: PML-Q central leader and former deputy prime minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said their politics is for the service of the poor and to induce people their rights.

He was talking to media after inquiring about Malik Asad Mehmood,the president PML-Q Chakwal. At the occasion,Ch Rasikh Elahi and Fafiz Ammar Yasar accompanied him.

Ch Parvez Elahi has said that we do not do politics merely for contesting elections as the focus and purpose of our politics was to secure rights of the people and rendering maximum service to the common and poor man.

Appreciating the services of Malik Asad Mahmood for the party, Ch Parvez Elahi said that during the general elections, he along with other colleagues had worked very hard because of which the party had secured more votes than previously.

He said that the party office-bearers and leaders should organize more and more corner meetings in order to increase their contacts with the people and should maintain closer contacts with the people even after the elections so that our party could become aware at the local level about the problems of the people and play its role for solving the same. Ch Parvez Elahi directed the Muslim League leaders to become fully active for making the party more stronger and effective.

Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that they do not politics for elections rather they contest in elections to serve the poor and for common man.

Asad Mahmood lauded the services of the Ch Pervaiz Elahi and said PML-Q took more votes in last elections then previous elections due to his vision.
