SBP conducted a dengue awareness lecture

Lahore: Sports Board Punjab (SBP) conducted a dengue awareness lecture for the participants of Inter-Provincial Under-14 Hockey camp probables at the National Hockey Stadium on Friday.

Director Sports SBP Jalil Ahmed Chohan delivered the lecture to young hockey players, who listened it eagerly. The players were told how to take protective measures and eradicate the fatal mosquito. Chohan also urged the young players to play their effective role for the elimination of dengue from their streets, houses and neighbourhood.

“Stagnant water in houses, streets and any part of a locality is the major cause for the growth of dengue and everybody should realize his/her role in vanishing such water,” he asked. The pamphlets, supporting dengue awareness, were also distributed among the young hockey players.

Deputy Director Tariq Wattoo, Hafeez Bhatti and Admin Officer Ammara Latif were also present on this occasion.
