GCU produces four PhDs in Mathematics

GCULahore: The Government College University, Lahore has produced four doctors of philosophy (PhDs) in Mathematics.

The GCU Examination Department has issued notifications after approval of theses of Danish Ali, Muhammad Kamran Siddiqui, Afshan Tabassum and Abdul Rauf.

Danish Ali completed his thesis on the topics of “Hermitian Geometry of Twistor Spaces” under the supervision of Prof Dr Oleg Mushkarov and Prof Dr Johann Davidov, while Muhammad Kamran Siddiqui got PhD degree in Mathematics after approval of his thesis “On Irregular Total and Graceful Labelings” completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Martin Baca. Afshan Tabassum completed her thesis entitled “Spectral Characterizations for Hyers-ulam Stability” under the supervision of Prof Dr Constantin Base. Abdul Rauf was notified as doctor of philosophy in Mathematics after approval of his thesis “Some Flows of Non-Newtonian Fluids,” while Prof Dr Constantin Fetecau supervised him.
