Convocation Ceremony held at Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women

Group Photo Lahore: The Convocation Ceremony of M.A English, M.A Education, M.Ed, B.A, B.Sc and B.Ed Courses was held at Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women, PAF Base, Nur Khan.   Ms Anusha Rehman, Minister of State for Information Technology & Telecommunication was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Air Commodore (Retd) Dr. Ijaz Ahmad Malik, Vice Chancellor Air University, Islamabad presided over the ceremony.

Begum Shehla Tahir, President Pakistan Air Force Women Association (PAFWA) was also present on the occasion.

Trophy Winner

The Chief Guest awarded trophy, medals and certificates to the position holders in various disciplines. “Quaid-e-Azam Trophy” for being the best student of the year was won by Miss Syeda Anum Aftab of B.Sc Course.

Air Commodore (Retd) Dr. Ijaz Ahmad Malik, Vice Chancellor Air University conferred the degrees to 38 students of M.A English, 41 students of M.Ed, 16 students of M.A Education, , 515 students of B.Ed, 37 students of B.A and 50 students of B.Sc Courses.

Earlier, Mrs Kaukab Ara Nasir, Principal Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women presented the annual report of the college. The college was established in 1984. Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women is not only the top ranking education college in the country but it is also one of the prestigious educational institutions of Pakistan Air Force.

Besides, M.A English, M.A Education, M.Ed, B.Ed, B.A and B.Sc courses, the college also offers Diploma in Montessori and Computer Sciences.
