Lahore Press Club condemns shoe throwing on CM Punjab

Lahore Press Club President Arshad Ansari,Vice President  Afzal Talib, Secretary Mian  Shahbaz, Joint Secretary Farzana Chaudhry,Treasurer Asif Chaudhry and members of the governing body have condemned the act of throwing shoe on CM Punjab.

In a statement , LPC office bearers said that a journalist job is to educate and inform the public and no journalist can involve in such immoral activity. The president Lahore Press Club said Imdad Sodhar was not a member of LPC and his entry also had banned.He demanded probe into the matter so the man or group behind this incident could be brought into light.

Meanwhile ,President EMRA Aasim Naseer has suspended the membership of the journalist Imdad Sodhar for his indecent act.The pictures circulated on social media gives clear glimpse of the incident inwhich Aasim Naseer stood smiling behind the Imdad Sodhar  who was waving a placard in support of Geo’s anchor Hamid Mir.
