Sri Lankan High Commissioner appreciates Punjab govt for overcoming dengue

Lahore: Sri Lankan High Commissioner Jayalath Weerakkody while appreciating the steps taken by Punjab government for the betterment of the people and rapid development of the province said that development vision of Shahbaz Sharif has greatly impressed them and he has a unique style of working.

High Commissioner said that when a team of Sri Lankan experts and doctors came to Lahore during dengue virus, it was surprised to see Shahbaz Sharif working round the clock during the campaign against dengue and they have to admit that Punjab succeeded in overcoming the worst dengue virus in the history of the world due to the dynamic leadership of Shahbaz Sharif.

Jayalath Weerakkody said that the Sri Lankan experts had come to assist Punjab government through their expertise but they returned after learning a lot from the working style of Shahbaz Sharif.
