A delegation of Mitsubishi Corporation calls on CM Punjab

Lahore: A representative delegation of Mitsubishi Corporation called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. Promotion of cooperation in dairy development, livestock and other sectors was discussed during the meeting. Delegation of Mitsubishi Corporation expressed deep interest in dairy development and livestock sector in Punjab.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that vast opportunities of promotion of dairy development and livestock sector exist in Punjab. He said that Punjab government has constructed a state-of-the-art slaughter house in Lahore where slaughtering is carried out according to hygienic principles. He said that government is taking solid steps for the development of livestock and dairy development sectors. The Chief Minister appreciated the interest shown by Mitsubishi Corporation in dairy development and livestock sector in Punjab.

Head of the delegation Toru Moriyama said on the occasion that they are willing to enhance cooperation for the promotion of dairy development and livestock sector in Punjab. Provincial Minister for Industry Muhammad Shafique, Secretary Finance, Secretary Industry and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
