Police break the local network of the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi:CCPO Lahore

Lahore: Police have claimed to break  the local network of the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi by arresting their six shooter including Muhammad Sabir alias Akram Khan, Sheikh Farhan Rafique,  Shafaqat Farooqi alias Mavia, Abdul Ruaf Gujjar, muhammad Hashim ,Salman Pathan who were involved in several sectarian killings ,this was disclosed by the CCPO Lahore Ch Shafique Ahmad in a crowded press conference,here at Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh.

DIG investigation Zulfiqar Hameed,SSP investigation Abdul Rab Ch, Acting DIG operations Rana Abdul Jabbar,SP CIA Omar Virk were also present at the occasion.

The CCPO Lahore said that CIA Police had arrested these killers involved in  sectarian terrorist violence incidents.They had confessed assassination of the religious leaders president AhleSunnat Punjab Molana Shams ur Rehman Moavia,Sunny Tehreek leader Khurram Raza Qadri, Allama Dr Shabih ul Hasan,Allama Nasir Abbas Multani,manager Soneri bank Syed Waqar Haider,Syed Ali Hasan Abbas,Syed Ali Hussain Qazalbash, doctors Syed Ali Haider and his son Haider Raza,Saghir asghar Baloch advocates Shakar Rizvi ,Arshad Ali Shah, Masud Abid Naqvi,professors syed Namwar Abbas and attacks on the eminent personalities including Asghar Nadeem Syed,TV anchor Raza Rumi .They also kidnapped the trader Sohaib Ahmad and released him after receiving 20 million ransom money.

The CCPO Lahore Chaudhry Shafiq Ahmed  said the sectarian terrorism and target killings had been the challenge for the them. Police teams Headed by DIG Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed Mohammad SP CIA Umar Virk , were working day and night for the arrest of these criminals.

He said that all the members of police teams demonstrated professionalism in light of the various information about sectarian terrorism and succeeded in the arrest of these target killers. Police have also recovered latest illicit weapons from the custody of these accused.He said Shams ur Rehman Mauvia was killed after differences with another party leader Malik Ishaq.

The CCPO announced cash reward and commandery certificates for the police teams.
