CM blast on former rulers

CM PUNJAB 15-4-14CM PUNJAB-15-4-14Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif during his address at the function of provision of interest-free loans to the women under “Chief Minister’s Self-Employment Scheme” at Alhamra severely criticized former rulers for showing criminal negligence in delaying Nandipur Power Project.

He said that former rulers during general elections had aired advertisements on TV channels based on clips of his speeches with regard to energy crisis and repeatedly shown his photograph but due to the greed of former rulers, machinery of Nandipur Power Project kept rusting for three years at Karachi Port and the poor nation had to spend additional amount of 27 billion rupees on this project. He said that PML-N government has revived Nandipur Project in six months and this project will start producing electricity next month under a phased programme.

Shahbaz Sharif invited former rulers to visit Nandipur Power Project. He said that when this project will start producing electricity next month, he will also invite them in the function and tell them about the hard work and national spirit due to which this project has been revived within six months.

Referring to the cooperation of China regarding resolution of energy crisis, the Chief Minister said that China is fully aware of the problems of people of Pakistan and extending cooperation in resolving energy crisis. All women present in the hall paid tributes to the Chief Minister Punjab on his revolutionary programme of self-employment scheme by giving him a standing ovation.

The Chief Minister also inquired about the problems of women receiving cheques of interest-free loans and congratulated them for adopting a dignified way to earn livelihood for their families.
