Lahore: Provincial Minister for Special Education, Asif Saeed Manais has said that 221 generators have been provided by Special Education Department in all its institutions throughout Punjab at a cost of Rs. 6.11 crore.
He stated this while addressing a function of generator distribution under the aegis of Special Education Department, here today. Secretary Special Education Ambreen Raza, District Officer Haroon Bhutta, Director Special Education Faazil Cheema, Lubna Azhar, Amjad Ali Khan, besides other officers of Special Education were present on the occasion.
The Minister said that special persons are an important part of the society and government is providing all possible facilities to them. He said that special attention is being paid to the rehabilitation, education and training of special persons. He said that after special training, the children are being enabled to study with normal children so that they should not feel inferiority complex.
He said that the country is facing energy crisis and generators have been distributed for resolving this problem so that children could pay their full attention to the education.
