AMSs and DMSs to personally visit all the patients: Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra

Lahore: In order to immediately redress the problems of patients and their attendants, Lahore General Hospital administration has made it essential for the AMSs and DMSs to personally visit all the patients one by one by gong to their beds. The hospital has been divided into various blocks where the administrative doctors would perform their duties, to be implemented immediately.

It was informed by Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra, Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and LGH and Medical Superintendent LGH Dr. Pervez Imtiaz while visiting patients to inquire about their health. They said that the revolutionary step would not only provide sigh of relief to the attendants saving them from becoming shuttle cock between their patient and doctor’s room but also improve the repute of the hospital certainly.

They further said that doctor’s attitude was very important in the process of recovery of patients; therefore, hospital staff should behave accordingly. They said that by providing all kind of modern medical equipments and machinery to hospitals, Punjab Government has put the ball into the court of doctors as far as health cover standards were concerned. 

Now it was the sole responsibility of people associated with health sector to act according with the health vision of Chief Minister and ensure best facilities to patients in the hospitals.
