PEF and LUMS join hands to shining PEF partner schools students

PEF LUMSLahore: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) and the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) have agreed to formally join hands together to motivate and encourage the shining PEF partner schools students to benefit from the coveted National Outreach Program (NOP) enunciated by the LUMS for the financially-deprived but intelligent students to study free of cost at LUMS.

In this regard, a joint meeting was held at PEF head office with PEF Deputy Managing Director (Operations) Tanveer Ahmad Zaffar in the chair. Different PEF program heads, including Regional Director Syed Naveed Abbas, attended the meeting. The LUMS team was headed by Syed Zeeshan Tahir Administrator NOP Centre, Senior Officers Sharjeel Moazzam, Hammad Khan, Sadia Babur Student Councilor and Zabreen Hasan Assistant Manager Communications.

On the occasion, the LUMS team gave a detailed presentation about various features of their prestigious National Outreach Program (NOP) for the most deserving students to study free of cost at world-class LUMS.

PEF-DMD (O) informed the LUMS team about various PEF initiatives for the deserving students and told that the foundation is encouraging its partner schools students to take maximum advantage of different scholarship opportunities of higher education so that they could make the most of their today and excel in life through education. He appreciated the good efforts of the LUMS for giving lifetime opportunity to the most-needy students to outshine through this scholarship opportunity. He told that five of the PEF shining students have already appeared in the NOP-2013 and it is expected that more shining stars will compete for this golden opportunity to reshape their life through education.
