PTI condemns Peshawar bombing

Lahore: PTI Punjab leadership expressed condolence on the martyred Iranian consulate. Ejaz ch PTI president said that such attacks were not acceptable as it was a complete violation of all norms and human rights. He said that the continuous attacks on innocent citizens, FC personnel and police were an indicator that the Taliban were not ready to work for peace and thus were responsible for derailing the dialogue process. He said that under these conditions peace was not possible and PTI fully supported action against all those people who were conducting these attacks

Gen. Sec. Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that it is tragic how women and children are also being killed in these attacks and thus no religion and no human norms gives the rights to anybody to conduct such crimes against women children and innocent people. She demanded that the Taliban stop these attacks immediately if they want to prove that they are interested in negotiations as these constant violations of the norms justified counter attacks to military operations.

She said that it was tragic that KPK was the most affective province as every other day it was being targeted by the terrorists making it impossible for people living over there to feel secure in any public place. She said that this blood for blood war was self defeating and would lead to unlimited bloodshed. She said that by constantly attacking innocent people the Taliban were expressing their non seriousness in negotiating the peace deal. She said that with the strikes and counter strikes the hope for peace will go away and thus PTI restates it demands for unconditional ceasefire.
