Punjab Govt has accepted the charge sheet: PML-Q

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Punjab spokesman has said that instead of responding to the Fact Sheet of the PML Punjab regarding more than Rs 30 billion loss to the exchequer due to leaving the projects incomplete, leveling of allegation by Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan was in fact “confession of the crime”.

The spokesman said in a statement issued here today that instead of checking and stopping wastage of billions of rupees of the public money, traditional non-seriousness and adamant attitude of the Punjab Govt was quite regrettable adding that in order to pinpoint the culprits responsible for causing billion of rupees loss to the exchequer, even court of law would also be approached.

The spokesman further said that despite making hectic efforts day and night for six years, the present rulers of Punjab had not been able to pinpoint even a single pie irregularity in any of dozens of public welfare projects of Ch Parvez Elahi tenure which would always be remembered as an ideal era in the context of transparency and good governance.
