Senior Journalists visit Ghurki Trust Hospital

HLahore: Senior Journalists and coloumnists have visited the Ghurki Trust and Teaching Hospital on the invitation of a world known professor Dr Amir aziz.Chairman Hospital Mohsin Bilal Ghurki,Director Naeem Ghurki,Medical Superintendent Aitzaz Ahmad and professor Dr Amir Aziz welcomed the distinguished guests including Syed Irshad Ahmad Arif,Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami,Aftab Iqbal,Sofia Baidar,Ashraf Ch,Naveed Ch,Ajmal Niazi,Ata ur Rehman,Sajjad Mir,Irshad Hussain,Tofiq Butt,Najam Wali Khan,Yaseen Ansari,Abdullah Malik and others.Visit was arranged for the briefing about newly build orthopedic and spine surgery department.

On the occasion,professor Dr.Amir Aziz said there was no hospital for above hundred villages and more than 1.2 million people who lived in the surrounding areas of Jallo More a  the suburb town of Lahore.Ghurki family donated the 114 canal land for the construction of a hospital for the poor and needy people of the under developed and neglected area of city. A 450 bed hospital was built and after the completion the spine surgery department ,it would be 580 beds hospital.

Thousands of people get free treatment and medicines from the hospital,all the expenses were being beared by the donors who were the members of the Anjuman Behbood Marizan hospital that was more than 34 millions. He applead to the philanthropists to give maximum donation so the treatent of the poor could continued.
