MP’s visit hospitals in Lahore

Lahore: Assembly Members Malik Waheed and Ghazali Butt visited Shalimar Hospital, private and social security hospitals situated at Ghazi Road in Aziz Bhatti Town and inquired after dengue patients there.

Assembly Members Malik Afzal Khokhar, Saiful Malook Khokhar and Zulfiqar Ali Gujjar visited various hospitals and enquired the patients about the medical facilities being provided to them. They directed the hospital administrations to leave no stone unturned in the treatment of dengue patients.

While talking to the attendants and relatives of patients on the occasion, the Assembly Members told that dengue mosquito and larvae can only be eliminated by adopting hygienic principles. They said that due to the comprehensive strategy of the government, dengue mosquitoes have been eliminated from open plots and ponds but now it is found in houses due to conducive environment.

The Assembly Members instructed the attendants of dengue patients not to let water accumulate in their homes and put the garbage in shopping bags which will help eliminate dengue mosquito and larvae. They said that on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister, the process of fogging has been expedited in streets.

Later, they visited Raiwind, Gajju Matta, Sabzazar, Johar Town and Iqbal Town and distributed literature among masses regarding dengue.
