General Electric International Company’s delegation call on CM

Lahore: A delegation of General Electric International Company called on Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. During the meeting, the proposed project of 750 MW power plant on the basis of liquid fuel was discussed.

Commercial Director of General Electric International Company Salman Khan, Sales Manager of the Company for Turkey, South Africa and Middle East Cees-Jan Demaaker, General Manager Metka Mr. Kostas Horinos, Provincial Minister for Energy Ch. Sher Ali, Dr. Aysha Ghaus Pasha, Chairman Planning & Development, Additional Chief Secretary Energy and concerned officials were present in the meeting. Commercial Director of General Electric International Company gave a detailed briefing on the proposed project.

Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that the road map should be evolved after considering all the aspects of the proposed project. He said that experts of Punjab government and engineers of General Electric International Company should jointly consider the details of the proposed project and submit a road map in next three days for implementation on the project.

Commercial Director of General Electric International Company Salman Khan said that their company is working on energy projects in Pakistan, Turkey, Romania, Greece and other countries. He said that the technology of the Company will be transferred to Punjab government through implementation on the proposed project.
