FIA registered a corrruption case against Asif Hashmi

Lahore: Federal Investigation Agency has started investigation against Evacuee Trust Property Board officials including former chairman Asif Hashmi after registering a case of corruption against them. FIA has arrested five accused and is planning to issue red warrant for the ex chairman Asif Hashmi who was abroad since more then six months.

According to the spokesman ,the FIR was registered against eight culprits on the direction of the Apex Court,we have arrested five people till now namely Acting vice-chairman Syed Ahsan Raza Jafri,Administrator Saeed Anwar,Secretary Land Saleem Masih, Assistant Administrator Asif Raza and Naib Tehseeldar Muhammad Sidiq while raids were being conducted to arrest the other three accused.

Evacuee Trust Property Board’s former Chairman Syed Asif Hashmi was very much popular among the lollywood’s female stars and the journalists  for his generosity in giving them huge amount,plots and the flats of his department.Editor daily Pakistan Mujeeb Ur Rehman Shami,Editor Daily Khabrain Zia Shahid,his son Imtinan Shahid,Editor Daily Jinnah Khasnud Ali Khan,chief reporter Daily Express Khalid Qayum,Secretary Nazria Pakistan Trust Shahid Rasheed and many more  are among the beneficiaries.

The sources disclosed if FIA investigate this case on merit without accepting political and journalistic pressure than billions  of Rs  state owned property could be retained.
