Samina Fazil elected president IWCCI unopposed

elected unopposed as President of the President, Islamabad Women’s Chamber o

f Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) for 2013-41.

Rizwana Asif has been elected as Senior Vice President while Sherain Jaweed has been elected as Vice President FPCCI.

Sarosh Rahim, Parveen Khan, Naima Ansari, Iram Qazi, Rafia Khan, Ays

ha Farooq Loon, Zakia Bibi, Shehnaz Perveen, Ambreena Shah, and Rubina Nasir have been elected as members of the Executive Committee of the chamber.

Outgoing President IWCCI Farida Rashid, former president Alia Akram, former SVP Mumtaz Akhtar and a large number of former officials as well as members of the chamber were present during the elections held in a cordial atmosphere.

Speaking at the occasion, the new president Samina Fazil said that she would try her best to come up to the expectations of the business community and serve women dedicatedly. “I will share wealth of experience with all in need,” she said.

She said that IWCCI has emerged as a strong institution giving help, guidance and hope the female entrepreneurs. We will continue to cooperate with all the stakeholders for the greater and collective good, she added.

Samina Fazil said that all channels would be utilised to address the problems confronted by the business community to priority basis.

She paid glowing tributes to outgoing president IWCCI Farida Rashid saying that she served the community with dedication and boosted the image

of chamber locally as well as abroad.
This chamber has been instrumental in strengthening and growing the by building opportunities. We will encourage government and private sector become more involved in the economic welfare of the women, they said.Rizwana Asif, Sherain Jaweed while addressing members of the IWCCI said that they are honoured to serve the businesswomen to help promote the interests of the entire business community .
