Rapists will be punished: Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Member National Assembly, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that accused involved in molestation of an innocent girl cannot escape deterrent punishment. He said that police has found clues regarding the criminals and they will soon be arrested. He said that no stone will be left unturned for awarding exemplary punishment to the criminals. He said that the molested girl is daughter of all of us and those committed this brutal act will be brought to condign justice.

He expressed these views while talking to media after inquiring the health of Sumbal at Services Hospital, here today. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif sympathized with the parents of the victim girl and assured that the whole nation is with them in protest against this heinous crime. He said that immediate arrest of criminals and awarding deterrent punishment to them is voice of the whole nation. He asked the police to cope with this challenge for earning blessings of Allah Almighty and bring the criminals before justice. He said that the criminals involved in this inhuman act will be arrested and taken to task at any cost.

Earlier, police officials gave briefing to Hamza Shahbaz Sharif regarding the progress of investigation. Hamza Shahbaz sought information from the doctors about the condition of the girl and directed them to provide every treatment facility to her.
