Minister Health raids at the house of a Vaccinator

Lahore:  Punjab Health Minister Khalil Tahir Sindhu, on a tip raided the house of a Health Department’s employee (Vaccinator) Kashif in Shahdra Town along with local police .

A large number of BCG syringes, measles vaccine injections, ice boxes, an old deep freezer provided by UNICEF for the storage of vaccine and other items were recovered from the house.  Shahdra police has taken all the recovered articles in their custody.

While talking to the media, the Minister said that more facts will be revealed after the arrest of the accused. He said that a complete inquiry will be conducted into the matter and strict action will be taken against all the elements involved in these illegal activities.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered at the Shahdra police station by EDO Health Lahore.
