CM visits flood affected areas

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited the flood affectees, surrounded by floods, in Basti Sero Shahi during his visit to Bandar Chandar Bhan embankment in Muzaffargarh.

He ignored all security arrangements and reached Basti Sero Shahi by boat and met the flood affectees. The administrative authorities tried to stop the Chief Minister from doing so because of security reasons but he said the relief and care of affected persons is as necessary as his security.

The Chief Minister inspected various localities by riding boat and also enquired about the problems being faced by the flood-hit people. The flood affectees, upon finding the Chief Minister among them, raised slogans in his favour.
