JI urges masses to come on roads against price rise

Syed Munawar HassanLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has said that the masses should be prepared for a fresh wave of price rise in the wake of the continuous raise in the prices of POL, gas and electricity, and should come on roads with the JI workers to protest against this state tyranny.

He was talking to the media men after addressing a seminar on the Egypt situation organized by the Tanzeem e Islami, at the Quran auditorium .

Syed Munawar Hasan said that the US was creating  chaos and disruption in the name of peace and reformation, and Islam and the Muslims were its sole target.

Underlining the need for Muslim unity to face the present challenges, the JIP Ameer disclosed that the  JI was organizing an international moot of the Isalamic movements in the city during the current month for the purpose.

Syed Munawar Hasan said the US had carried out the genocide of the Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan and now it wanted to repeat the same story in Syria.

Condemning all anti Muslim activities of the US, Syed Munawar Hasan said that  Washington was behind all conspiracies against Islam and the Muslims. In fact, it had started an undeclared war against the Muslim Ummah. In such a situation, the Muslim Ummah must decide its own issues by itself.

The JI  Ameer deplored the attitude of the Arab states, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan on the Syrian situation. He said it was an irony that military rule announced by Pervez Musharraf should be condemned while the same action by Gen,.  Sisi should be welcome. Such an atitude would automaticlaly  lead to anti demcoracy steps and dictartorship. He said Washington used such dictators to force the muslims to its slavery. If some ruler refused to act as US tool, a war was thrust on  him and bloodshed was started, he said.

Syed Munawar Hasan urged all Muslim rulers especially the Paksitani ruelrs having been the target of military dictator, to demand immediate restoration of Dr Mursi .

to a question about the prospects of the Pak- Taliban talks , he said in fact Washington was the biggest hurdle in these talks as it was continuously threatening Islamabad to refrain from dialogue with the Taliban, and the Pakistani rulers dared not to annoy Washington. It was a pity, he said, that  Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had so much love for the US that he would only act according to the US dictates.
