Lahore: Today a medical equipment distribution ceremony held in Trauma Centre, Jinnah Hospital Lahore. In this ceremony expensive equipments and imported machinery which includes imported pneumatic drills, imported pneumatic saw, battery operated drills, orthpaedics implants, fiberoptics laryngoscope, wheel chairs and stretchers were handed over to worthy chief guest Principal, Allama Iqbal Medical College, Prof. Mehmood Shoukat. These equipments were arranged and managed by Trauma Centre JHL.
Worthy Principal, AIMC distributed these equipments to various departments of JHL. Prof. Ghulam Murtaza Cheema and Prof. Zia Ullah Bajwa gave detailed description of these equipments and improvement in quality of operations.
In the end Prof. Mehmood Shoukat appreciated the efforts of Trauma Centre and encouraged the whole team for arranging such valuable equipments for poor patients and announced the donation of very expensive equipments for Trauma Centre including image intensifier and High Tech Operation Table for Trauma Centre and advised to develop a system and SOP’s for maintenance of equipments.
The Ceremony was attended by Dr. Hamid Awan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tehseen Riaz and senior faculty of JHL.
