LHC notice murder of a kid in Deepalpur

Lahore High Court on Tuesday took notice of the news published in a section of press regarding murder of a child,3, by cutting his ears, nose and lips in suburban area of Deepalpur. District & Sessions Judge, Okara has been directed to probe into the matter and submit a detailed report regarding steps taken by the local police along with his own comments.

According to details, Ali Haider son of a laborer Muhammad Asghar, resident of village Ratta Khanna, was playing in the street when an unknown person enticed him and took to a nearest place. The accused chopped of his ears, nose and lips after allegedly committing immoral act and ran away. When mother of child reached the spot by searching him, she found her child in painful condition. The child was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Deepalpur but died of severe wounds. The Local police registered the case when the incident found space in the media.

LHC Complaint Cell took serious notice of the news and directed the concerned D&SJ to look into the matter and submit report within a week positively.
