CJ asks LBC to take action against 2advocates

Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Mr. Justice Umar Ata Bandial has  asked the Punjab Bar Council to look into the misbehaviour of two advocates with the members of the district judiciary.

Registrar has sent two letters to the Secretary Punjab Bar for initiating action against Mr. Kamran Bashir Mughal and Mr. Qamar Shahid Meo advocates.

The complaint against Mr. Qamar Shahid Meo addressed to the Secretary Bar reads, “I am directed to forward herewith copies of Dailies City 42, Nawa-e-Waqt, Pakistan and Nai Baat having illegal act of Mr. Qamar Shahid Meo, advocate in Model Town Courts, Lahore with the learned judicial Officers and their staff, and to inform you that , the Hon’ble Chief Justice has been pleased to direct you to look into the matter and initiate disciplinary proceedings immediately against the said advocate, under intimation to this court.”, while the other letter quotes, “I am directed to forward herewith a copy of reference received from the learned district and sessions judge, Lahore, for disciplinary action, having complaint against Mr. Kamran Bashir Mughal, advocate his misconduct with Mr. Khalid Mehmood Bhatti, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Lahore and to request you to look into the matter and take further necessary action at your end.”

Both the above said letters have been received by Mr. Jibron Khalil, section officer of the Punjab Bar Council today.
