Voters sit in continues on fourth day

Lahore: Even PTI leadership could not make protesters understand to end their sit in with out recounting or new polls in NA-125.Families who voted PTI leader Hamid Khan did not listen him on Monday when he asked the protesters to end their sit in.

People have the opinion they were not protesting for any political motive rather they were protesting against the theft of their votes and mandate.If the authorities would not take action than they would continue their protest.

On Monday morning there were few home wives in the sit in place who told the media that their family members had gone to office,university ,college or school,as soon as they come back to home ,they would join them in the sit in. These ladies were quite right as in the evening there were thousands of people gathered again for protest against the rigging and change in election result.

It was the first time that people were doing protest on their own and gave longest sit in in the history of Pakistan.

It was said that newly elected  MNA Khawaja Saad Rafique and MPA’s Yaseen Sohal,Mian Naseer were in so much pressure that they were not visiting their constituency and they have not even say thank you to their supporters. No politician and political party was expecting such a reaction from public side as change in a election result or rigging was as old as the country.In 2002 in the same constituency NA-125 an elected member Akram Zaki of PML-N  was declared defeated by the than PML-Q candidate Hamayun Akhtar Khan after the third day of the election but no voter come out to protest but this time change in result has put PML-N and its candidate Khawaja Saad Rafique on back foot.Both were making lame excuses but yet to satisfy the voters. It is really the new Pakistan.
