Health Department to ensure operationalization of medical instruments:CM Punjab

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi has directed the Health Department to ensure operationalization of medical instruments and machinery in all government hospitals, within a period of one week. He further directed Health Secretary to submit a report to him by 10 April, in this regard.

Chief Minister Najam Sethi has ordered authorities of Health Department that all medical instruments, which are currently under repair, should be operationalized within one week, and if these medical instruments are found to be out-of-order after this period, the concerned officers would be held responsible for it. Chief Minister has also directed provision of necessary funds to ensure proper repair and maintenance of these medical instruments and other related machinery.
