Fake Degree sent Dasti to jail,Amna Ulfat,Sheikh Waqas waiting for their turn

Lahore: Former MNA Jamshed Dasti has been arrested from the court room in fake degree case.The court sentenced him priso for three years with a fine of Rs 5000 on Thursday.

When he was hand cuffed by the police,he could not stop tears and wept like a weak ,poor and helpless common man.He announced to quit politics and said he was being forced not to contest election and if he would not contest all the cases against him would end.

Jamshed Dasti had announced neither he nor any member of his family would participate in the general elections.He said the path he had adopted was difficult because he could not fight against the feudalism.
“I never thought that I could contest an election but the down trodden and poor peasants of the area stood with me and elected me as their representative’ Dasti said.

Mind it the Supreme Court on Wednesday had indicted Jamshed Dasti in fake degree case.

Moreover,KPK’s ex-sports minister Syed Aqil Shah sentenced to prison for one yearwith fine of three thousands for holding fake degree.Aqil Shah, who is a member of the Awami National Party, obtained his graduation degree from Lahore but the institution he graduated from was not yet recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). His degree was declared fake.

Smilarly, former member of National Assembly Syed Salman Gilani has been declared a proclaimed offender in fake degree case.The judge has also ordered authorities to seize his property.

, belonging to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), was elected as an MNA from NA-165 Pakpattan during the 2008 election

On the other hand, a local court in Quetta has reserved its judgment against former provincial minister Ali Madad Jattak over the case of holding a fake degree.

Meanwhile Punjab University has not verified the degrees of PML-Q former MPA Amna Ulfat and HEC has declared former federal minister and PML-N leader from Jhang Sheikh Waqas Akram’s degree faked.According to the sources,they are now waiting for their turn to visit jail.It is expected that Punjab University will give its decision about more degree within 24 hours.
