Lahore: Members of Caretaker Provincial Cabinet met Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister, Najam Sethi at Chief Minister’s Secretariat today. Matters regarding holding of general elections in a free, fair, transparent and peaceful manner were discussed on the occasion.
All the four Caretaker Provincial Ministers including Tariq Pervaiz, Saleema Hashmi, Arif Ejaz, Shams Mehmood Mirza as well as Chief Secretary Punjab were present in the meeting.
Najam Sethi congratulated all the four caretaker ministers and said that they are part of his team and we will collectively ensure holding of general elections in a free, fair, transparent and peaceful manner in the province. He urged upon the ministers to spend their energies for the service of people. He said that we will work together for discharging our duties efficiently and holding of free, fair, transparent and peaceful general elections would be ensured. He said that no hurdle would be tolerated in this regard and no one would be allowed to take undue advantage.
The members of caretaker cabinet said that we will try to come up to the expectations of the Caretaker Chief Minister.
