Lahore: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, Najam Aziz Sethi was presented guard of honour when he reached Chief Minister’s Secretariat after taking oath of his office at Governor’s House.
A smartly turned out Police contingent presented him a salute. Later, Najam Sethi met officers and staff of the Chief Minister’s House and shook hand with them individually.
Speaking on the occasion, the caretaker Chief Minister said that government officers and officials should perform their duty with honesty and commitment.
Principal Secretary Nadeem Hassan Asif and Secretary Implementation Fawad Hassan Fawad briefed the caretaker Chief Minister.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, Najam Sethi has two children. His son, Ali Sethi did his graduation from Harvard University and his novel ‘The Wish Maker’ has been published in English, Dutch, German, Italian, Turkish and other languages. His daughter, Mira Sethi graduated with honours from Wellesley College and has served as Assistant Books Editor in the Wall Street Journal, New York
