ECP arranges arranged a Voter’s Awareness Consultation workshop

Lahore:The Election Commission of Pakistan for various celebrities from sports, media and entertainment industry at Pearl Continental Hotel, today. The Additional Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan Afzal Khan presided over the consultation workshop.

Welcome remarks to the guests were delivered by Provincial Election Commissioner, Punjab S.M. Tariq Qadri. He addressed the participants and informed that it is first time in the history of Pakistan that Voter’s Awareness Campaign has been formally conducted by ECP at federal, provincial and district levels. He urged to cooperate with ECP in fulfilling this national duty. He stressed the importance of casting vote in the upcoming general elections-2013.

The guests of the workshop included Abid Kashmiri, Hamid Ali Khan, Masood Akhtar Khan, Adeel Burki, Humarira Arshad, Kanwal, Nisho Begum, Hussain Baksh Gullo, from sports; Tofeeq Umar, Saeed Ahmad, Imtiaz Ahmad and Shafeeq Ahmad. Circle Incharge Edhi Welfare Zameer Ahmad also participated in the Voter Awareness Consultation workshop.
