Badami Bagh incident is a conspiracy to sabotage elections:Ch Shujat Hussain

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain has strongly condemned setting ablaze of Christians colony in Lahore and said that such incidents on this occasion can be part of conspiracy to sabotage the elections.

He said in a statement issued here today that the most unfortunate aspect of this incident is that the police was directed to stay away and this enabled the rioters to accomplish their deplorable intentions, if the Provincial Govt wanted then this incident could have been avoided two days earlier. He said that the Chief Minister ruling 65 per cent population of the country cannot be acquitted of this incident, mere suspension of SP and DSP cannot mitigate the sufferings of oppressed Christians nor the rulers of the province can isolate themselves from the responsibility of this incident.
