Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that slogan of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif is that they have taken revenge from Punjab and now will take revenge from Pakistan and this is their manifesto also. He said this while addressing inauguration ceremony of Gujranwala Export Processing Zone today.

He said that on his direction, the EPZA has established its Liaison Offices in many cities including Quetta more than the given target. He directed Chairman EPZA that all possible facilities should be provided to women for working in industry and its related other fields. Former Punjab Chief Minister further said that In order to provide maximum opportunities for employment to the people during his tenure that industrial development in Punjab should be ensured and investors provided all necessary facilities alongside safe investment and in this regard he had paid full attention to establish state of the art industrial zones, set up Sunder Industrial Estate, Faisalabad Value Addition City and Garments City, other estates were upgraded, now these saplings of our tenure have now become grown up trees and people of Punjab are benefitting from these.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that volume of halal market in the world is about 1. 3 billion dollars in which Pakistan’s share is almost nothing, Chairman EPZA and his team should pay special attention to establish halal zones for ensuring Pakistan’s share in this market.
