Thousands of people get ownership rights in Multan

Multan: Punjab Govt has given ownership rights to more than two thousand dwellers of kachi abadi and jinah abadi schemes at Multan. Provincial Minister Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi, MNAs, Rana Mehmood ul Hassan and Sh. Tariq Rasheed, Assistant Commissioners, Asim Saleem and Saadia Mehr distributed certificates at a function held at Art Council Multan.

Haji Ehasunuddin Qureshi said that the day of accountability of those raising empty slogans of roti, kapra and makan have come closer. He said that due to welfare projects of Punjab government, people got relief in real sense and laptop, aashiana scheme, jinah abadi, green tractor scheme and establishment of universities are clear proof of it. He said that corruption of federal government has weakened the roots of the country which has caused irreparable loss to the country’s economy. MNAs, Rana Mehmood ul Hassan and Sh. Tariq Rasheed said that Punjab Chief Minister has completed record development projects in South Punjab. They said that people will reject corrupt elements in coming elections.

Assistant Commissioner Saadia Mehr informed during briefing that 2035 plots will be given free of cost in six chaks under five marla scheme whereas the process of giving plots under kachi abadi scheme has also started. She said that the balloting of plots has been held in a transparent manner. Later, chief guests distributed ownership rights among allotees.
