Two more MPA joins PML-N

Lahore: One more Member Punjab Assembly of Pakistan Peoples Party has joined the PML-N after showing no trust on party’s provincial president Mian Manzoor Wattoo.

According to the party sources,Shamsher Haider Wattoo had shown his reservation on party leadership at different forums but no one gave importance to his thoughts and at-last he left the party and secured his political future by joining PML-N which has deep roots in the province and was considering a emerging party again in national politics.

Shamsher Haider Wattoo son of Ahmad Yar Wattoo was born on March 4, 1970 and graduated in 1989 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He was elected as Vice Chairman, Zila Council Faisalabad in 1999; as Nazim, Union Council in 2000, and also served as Naib Tehsil Nazim, Tandlianwala during 2001-02. An agriculturist, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008. His father served as Member of Punjab Assembly during 1997-99 and his uncle, Malik Noor Muhammad Wattoo was elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and also served as Parliamentary Secretary for Food during 1988-90.

Meanwhile, MPA from PML-Q Muhammad Yaqub Sheikh has also joined PML-N.He has given his resignation to the party’s leadership.

Muhammad Yaqub Sheikh son of Muhammad Yousaf Sheikh was born on October 15, 1964 at District Jhang and graduated form University of the Punjab, Lahore in 2007. He served as District Naib Nazim, Jhang during 2004-06. A businessman, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008. He has visited USA, Dubai, UK, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey and USA. His father served as Member of Punjab Assembly during 1985-88.
