Jinnah Hospital’s new ICU will be inaugurated tomorrow

Lahore: A state-of-the-art new ICU constructed at Jinnah Hospital at a cost of Rs. 3 crore will be inaugurated today where modern machinery, monitors and other facilities will be available whereas ultrasound and other tests will also be conducted under one roof in this ICU. This ICU has been completed from the discretionary funds of Member Provincial Assembly and Chairperson Punjab Social Services Board Saba Sadiq. This ward has been named after Mian Sadiq, father of Saba Sadiq, who was also a worker of Pakistan Movement. Five cubic beds have also been provided in this 10-bed ICU ward where medical facilities will be available to the patients in a special environment. This ward will be inaugurated on Thursday February 28 at 11 am. Special Assistant on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique and Saba Sadiq will be the chief guest. This ward will be the extension block of the already existing ICU.

Saba Sadiq said that the inauguration of 10-bed ICU ward at Jinnah Hospital is a continuity of the priorities given by Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to health sector. He said that best treatment facilities will be available to the patients in this ward without any discrimination and common man will get relief from it. Saba Sadiq said that she has utilized her discretionary funds for useful purposes through which ailing humanity will be served practically. She said that this ward will be an exemplary with regard to its construction and facilities.
