Dr Ali Haider assassinated along with his little son

Lahore:Unidentified shooters have killed renowned eye surgeon professor dr.Ali Haider and his 12 years old son Murtaza and fled away.According to Gulberg police resident of Hali Road Dr Ali came out from his house in car along with his son,as he reached near FC College gate four armed bickers opened fire on him,he tried to escape but the accused followed him and keep firing until he and his son died.Police has registered a case against unknown criminals and have started investigation.

Dr Haider was working at Lahore General Hospital,His father was also a known Dr of the town.As per the locals,police reached at the spot after half an hour and no immediate effort could be made as police was too late.

Dr Haider and his son funeral would be offered at residence today at 11AM. Drs community has expressed great grief and sorrow over the target killing of their fallow and his son.
