Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif conducted a whirlwind tour of cities of South Punjab inlcuding, Mailsi, Vehari and Burewala. He laid foundation stone and inaugurated development and welfare projects worth billions of rupees at these places which included New Campus of Agri University, Daanish School, gymnasium and industrial estate. Public representatives and social circles of the area were of the view that after the completion of these projects besides promotion of health and education sector, job opportunities will also be available to the people.
Public meeting of Burewala was extraordinary with regard to attendance of the people. Addressing the public meeting, the Chief Minister said that the presence of the people in such a large number in the public meeting reflects that people have given decision in favour of Quaid PML-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Shahbaz Sharif strongly criticized President Zardari and his governance style and said that at a time when he was inaugurating metro bus for the labourers, clerks and students in Lahore, President Zardari was busy in inaugurating his new palace. He said that the people will reject such persons in the coming elections through power of vote.
