Mansha Butt inspects tyres shops and godowns

Lahore: Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Environment, Muhammad Manshaullah Butt, accompanied by Secretary Environment and other officers, inspected shops and godowns dealing in tyres situated in the surrounding of the Ring Road and Band Road.

He ordered issuance of notices to six shopkeepers and godown owners keeping tyres in open sky. He also issued directions to take strict action against the shopkeepers violating the Dengue control rules and regulations. He said that precautionary measures should be taken against dengue this year for the elimination of this epidemic on the pattern of last year when all the institutions under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif controlled dengue by working round the clock.
