Turk delegation visits Badshi Mosque

Lahore:Turk Vice Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag, Deputy Mayor Istanbul Ahmet Salamet accompanied by a high level delegation today visited historical places in Lahore. The Deputy Prime Minister thanked Chief Minister Punjab for excellent hospitality. Expressing their views, the members of the delegation said that Lahore is a unique city in the world with regard to historical and cultural perspective. They would remember forever warm welcome extended by the Lahorites, they added.

The delegation visited Mazar-e-Iqbal, Badshahi Mosque and Minar-e-Pakistan. Turk Deputy Prime Minister laid floral wreath on Mazar-e-Iqbal and offered Fateha. A smart contingent of rangers presented guard of honour. Later, the members of the delegation offered their Asr prayers in Badshahi Mosque. Chairman Lahore Transport Company, Vice Chairman PBIT and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
