Lahore: Punjab Emergency Service’s Public Relations Officer Jam Sajjad Hussain was robbed on gunpoint when two unidentified dacoits equipped with automatic sophisticated weapons intercepted him at Wahdat Road in Gulshan-e-Ravi Police area early on Monday.
The dacoits snatched a Q-Mobile worth over Rs 4000, cash Rs 55000, a memory card and a helmet of motorbike and fled the scene. According to the details, an under training PRO Rescue 1122 Jam Sajjad was on his way to the Emergency Services Academy around 5:30 am to attend training classes when two unknown dacoits riding a 125 Motorbike intercepted him on gunpoint in center point of Multan Chungi and Phekaywal Morr and asked him to surrender his valuables.
After snatching the valuables, the dacoits managed to flee from the scene. An application has been submitted with the police station concerned with no action taken against the dacoits till filing of this report. Further investigation is underway.
