Amjad Javaid Saleemi assumes charge as CCPO Lahore

Lahore: According to a notification, the Punjab government transferred RPO Sargodha Ajmad Javaid Saleemi and posted him as the CCPO Lahore.

Born in Toba Tek Singh in 1960, Ajmad Javaid Saleemi is the 15th officer posted as the CCPO in Lahore.

After getting his Msc Degree in Engineering (Geology), he had joined the Police Service of Pakistan as ASP in 1986. He was promoted to the rank of SP in 1992. In 2008, he was promoted to the rank of DIG. During his service, he served on key positions in different districts of the Punjab province including Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Narowal, Sialkot, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Jhang, Gujranwala, Mianlwali and Bhakkar,DIG Operations Lahore and RPO Sahiwal as well. He also served in the Capital City Quetta (Balochistan).

Ajmad Javaid Saleemi also took part in the UN Mission during his career and completed various professional courses and training as well.

Ajmad Javaid Saleemi is recognized as the dutiful, honest and brave officer in the police department.
