PML-N concerns over the law and order situation in Karachi

Lahore: The PML-N on Thursday expressed serious concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and said rulers have failed to protect citizens in the country’s largest city.

Speaking to the media, PML-N leader Pervaiz Malik MNA said that Wednesday’s killing of 18 people, including two clerics, in Karachi has made it clear that the government has lost its writ.

“There is need to launch a targeted operation to control violence in the city,” the PML-N leader said, adding that the poor law and order in Karachi has also been a major hurdle to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in financial hub of the country.
