Mansha Butt inspects stock of flour on the shops

Lahore: Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Food Mansha Ullah Butt today paid surprise visit to Mozang, Ichhra, Shadman, Samanabad, Township, Model Town, Bhagarian and Ghalib Market Gulberg and inspected the available stock of flour on the shops. He sought information from the consumers about the rates of flour. He was informed that 20 kg flour bag is being sold at Rs.670 and there is no difficulty in its purchase. He directed the shopkeepers to display the rate of flour fixed by the government conspicuously.
Earlier, a delegation of Karyana Association met Mansha Ullah Butt at his office. The members of the delegation informed that there is no shortage of flour anywhere in the market and rates of flour fixed by the government are being implemented strictly. Mansha Ullah Butt asked the members of the delegation to immediately inform him about the elements involved in artificial price hike, hoarding and overcharging so that strict action could be taken against them.
