CCPO appreciates the efforts to make Lahore drug free

CCPO LahoreLahore: A meeting of Multi Sectoral Task Force for Drug Free City Lahore Project was held here today under the chairmanship of CCPO Lahore Muhammad Aslam Tareen. The focal person of Lahore Drug Free Project SSP Sharak Kamal was also present.
During the meeting, detailed briefing was given by different departments regarding implementation of aim and objects of Lahore Drug Free City Project. Various suggestions and proposals were discussed during the meeting. It was decided to intensify efforts to make Lahore a Drug Free City in letter and spirit. At the end of the meeting, various prizes were distributed among Law Enforcement Agencies for their outstanding performance during the year and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
Those institutions which got the prizes included Law Enforcement Agency first prize of Rs. one lakh Lahore Police; second prize of Rs. fifty thousand ANF Punjab; third prize of Rs. 25 thousand Excise & Taxation. Among NGOs include first prize of Rs. fifty thousand Ehsas for life; second prize of Rs. 25 thousand each Safe Child Foundation, Pak Youth Welfare Council, Anti-Narcotics Force and third prize of Rs. 10 thousand each Art Production, Muslim Welfare Society, Tanzeem-ul-Fajr Pakistan, Global Welfare Organization, Phoenix Foundation for Research and Development and Maan Welfare Society.
